HORSES & PROSPECTS SOLD:

Over the last few years I’ve had the opportunity to place some of my young horses in some great new homes.  On this page I’ll share those horses and if the new owners let me know I will definitely post updates on how they’re doing in their new homes!

DFN SPOOKS PEPINIC (aka Magoo)  2013 Sorrel Tovero Gelding.
Spooks Delta Dude x Pippi (Pepinics Master)
Magoo is one of the most uniquely marked colts we've seen to date & also one of the biggest of Spook's offspring so far too!  He was started and had a nice handle on him before being sold to a working ranch close to home.  We're all looking forward to keeping tabs on him and having him back at the ranch each spring for branding!

Thanks Jeff, I'm sure you'll enjoy this super-cool & super-sensitive guy!

STRAIT WHITE KNIGHT (aka Newt) 2012 Black Tobiano Gelding

Newt was the last colt born before I started breeding to Spook.  He's out of my 'old faithful' APHA mare Luckydee Teena.  He was started as a youngster but then left for quite a while when I got busy with all the Spook babies.  Newt recently went to live with Nolan & DJ near Grayson where he’ll be working on a ranch for a living!

SPOOKSSTRAITSONOFAGUN (aka BANDIT)  2011 Sorrel Tovero Gelding

Spooks Delta Dude x Rein Dancin Strait

“Bandit” was the first colt I raised sired by Spook so he is a special guy & he definitely got a special new home! After being shown a bit in working cow horse events and some western dressage, Bandit has now gone to live near Saskatoon with great new owners Susan & Vance who are going to see if he wants to be a Mounted Shooting mount!  So far it sounds like they are loving him so watch for a nice white gelding in the shooting-pen near you !!

AQHA “SPARKEE”  2015 AQHA Palomino Gelding

Heza Diamond Spark x Elphabelena

“Lloyd” as we’ve called him from birth, was sold to Darroch Performance Horses actually before he was born but he got to stay with us until he was a long-yearling.  They have not been disappointed and have recently started him under saddle, which is also going very well!  Ella has some pretty good produce-records so we’re expecting Lloyd will add to that when the time comes - likely in the cow-horse arena!

DFN SPOOKS PEPPY CHIEF 2014 Bay Solid Gelding

Spooks Delta Dude x Pippi

Chief was purchased by Danielle & Clayton near Saskatoon, SK and last report was that he was doing very well in training & is working toward the working cow horse show-pen.

DFN SPOOKS LUCKY LENA  2015 Chestnut Tovero Filly

Spooks Delta Dude x Luckydee Teena

Lena is currently living in her new home in Manitoba and her new owners say she is definitely “a keeper”.  We can’t wait to hear how she progresses once training starts soon.

DFN SPOOK SUGARNSPICE 2014 Chestnut Tovero Filly

Spooks Delta Dude x Luckydee Teena

This sweet lil gal, the first Spook-filly that was offered for sale, is out in Alberta with her new owner Britt and is doing well. She's currently in training with a reining trainer & I am getting some GREAT reports back!

DFN SPOOKS DAN STRAIT  2013 Bay Tovero Gelding

Unfortunately had some tough-luck with Danny.  After getting a great start under saddle where he showed some great potential, I actually lost Danny in late fall of his 2 yr old year.  Ranching and raising livestock is definitely not for the faint of heart & we all know that these things do occasionally happen & are thankful to have had such a great colt & were able to see his great potential before he left.

DFN SPOOKS LUCKYSMILE (AKA Smiley) 2013 Chestnut Tovero Gelding

Spooks Delta Dude x Luckydee Teena

Smiley has found his new home with Ashley near Viscount, SK.

At last report he was doing well with his training and he’s possibly going to be showed in some cow horse events when they're ready.

DFN SPOOK A CAT (AKA Archie) 2013 Bay solid Gelding

Spooks Delta Dude x Omega Kitty

Archie is a cool and good looking, talented gelding who went to live with my good friend Angela near Preeceville, SK.  Archie is doing well in his training and will soon be her go-to ranch horse and cow horse!
